Duo Pleyel: From Muffat to Beethoven

Richard Egarr and Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya, harpsichord and 1848 Pleyel piano. Before recordings existed, four-hand piano arrangements brought orchestral music into the home. Works by Händel, J.C. Bach, and Mozart, and Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony in Czerny’s arrangement for piano four hands.

Duo Zeffiretti: sopranista Maayan Licht and harpsichordist Guy Maori

Baroque arias once written for the legendary castrati, alongside virtuoso works on a Flemish Ruckers-style harpsichord. Programme includes Bach’s Italian Concerto, BWV 971.
